They also are responsible for maintaining the platform, from eliminating bugs to applying security updates.Our São Paulo office is located in the heart of the city, a region full of cultural spaces and history. We have an auditorium where we can host presentations, lectures and fun activities!The RoleWe’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to play a key role in shaping and delivering our vision for technical infrastructure. Stadium Goods’ tech team is composed of brilliant and resourceful team players.As a member of the DevOps Team, you will collaborate with the engineering team to support and streamline the infrastructure that supports our core business applications, while maintaining a high degree of security and compliance. Reporting to our DevOps Lead, our DevOps Engineers are deeply involved in architecting, building, and maintaining our core cloud-based infrastructure, enabling our expansion into new markets and delivering a high-quality experience to customers, suppliers, and partners.What You’ll Do
- Oversee our portfolio of AWS environments and resources: contribute to the architecting and build out of new resources, monitor active workloads and resolve issues, and identify and implement optimizations for sizing and cost-reductions.
- Support our engineering team: build and maintain QA sandboxes and staging environments, define and create automation solutions for CI/CD, and support engineering teams by providing automation and other solutions to ensure a robust development process.
- Define security standards and enforce best practices across cloud and on-prem infrastructure and networking/telecommunications.
- Collaborate with IT Compliance Project Manager and other team members to ensure compliance with key regulatory standards including Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI-DSS, GDPR and others.
- Assist in coordinating third party service providers and SaaS vendors used in relation to our infrastructure.
Who You Are
- 5+ years’ system administration and devops experience, with 3+ years building and maintaining production workloads on AWS using services including EC2, RDS, S3, ALB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWorks, and VPC.3+ years experience in a 24×7 operational role on a cloud-based service.
- Expertise in deploying containerized applications using Docker and AWS ECS/ECR/EKS.
- Extensive experience in scripting and task automation using Python, Perl, Bash as well as the AWS CLI.
- Expert-level understanding of Git and software revision control and code deployment best practices; proven ability to design and develop automated code deployment scripts using Gitlab or similar CI/CD tools.
- Expertise in the use of automated deployment tools including Ansible, Chef, Saltstack or similar.
- Familiarity tuning SQL databases for scale and performance, specifically with Postgres and MySQL compatible RDS Aurora, and MS SQL Server.
- CDN setup and configuration experience, strong preference for CloudFlare.
- Using external monitoring services to detect and analyze infrastructure events: DataDog, SumoLogic, CloudWatch, New Relic, Rollbar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid team player, and self starting attitude
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal, customer service, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
