It has management responsibility for Service Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Service, Field Service, Service Operations, Service Engineering, and External Equipment Operations organizations. This position will be responsible for establishing and implementing a strategic approach to the management, marketing, control, and direction of equipment service and developing other service revenue opportunities as a customer-centric business operation. Works collaboratively with divisional, regional, and functional management and drives continuous improvement activities across the Region. Will also work closely with channel partners across the region to identify potential business transformations to support the capital equipment strategy.Experience. Requirements and Competencies:-The candidate should have a college degree and job experience of at least 5 to 7 years.
-Preferred career degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related. MBA is desirable.
-The candidate must have strong financial knowledge to understand the impact of CE on the company’s results and all financial statements and must also have proven analytical, planning, and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking and problem-solving.
-The candidate will be responsible for developing and rolling out Latam´s regional CE strategy with country-specific executable tactics.
-The candidate must have experience in developing CE commercial models and tangent service models.
-The candidate should have an understanding of the field and commercial abilities that will contribute to the design of strategies to transition CE from a cost center to a profit center.
-Works on issues of large and diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires expert knowledge of the area of expertise and an in-depth understanding of organizational objectives.
-The candidate should have experience in developing therapy journeys.
-The candidate preferably has worked with channel partners and develop joint collaborative strategies in this area.
-Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
-Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
-High attention to detail is a must.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Advanced English spoken and written.
-Spanish and Portuguese are a must.
-Nice to have Salesforce, SAP, and tableau experience.
-Nice to have a proven track record in developing XaaS strategy.
-The candidate must have proven experience working in a matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead the execution of a profitable regional Capital Equipment business strategy. Build a profitable regional-country level service model by expanding service revenue and effectively managing cost structure.
- May lead a team and/or will influence sales, marketing, Distributor Business Managers, and technical teams across the region to co-design and execute a comprehensive end-to-end business strategy for Capital Equipment.
- Align efforts with corporate objectives and act as liaison to advocate and communicate overall strategy across the Region.
- Develop a commercial go-to-market strategy for Capital Equipment per country and division.
- Develop a regional and by-country service and warranty strategy
- Explore potential channel partner business model transformations for Capital Equipment like call centers for service, capital equipment servicing, renewable warranties, and maintenance services.
- Champion improvements in business processes to increase the effectiveness of their implementation across the organization.
- Work with international counterparts to establish the framework for global service operations and drive best-practice sharing.
- Establish structure, processes, and procedures to assure comprehensive quality system compliance across the organization.
- Continually evaluate, improve, and implement changes to assure customer-centric cross-business unit focus.
- Create a balanced performance environment addressing customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and achievement of productivity and revenue-expense goals.
- Work with divisional marketing management to develop service marketing offerings and programs to increase customer coverage and associated revenue opportunities.
