Descrição da Vaga: Offer DescriptionSelection of a post-doctoral fellow for the development of the project “Enzymatic oxidation of sugarcane bagasse II: exploring the interaction between CDHs and LPMOs aiming at the development of more efficient for insertion in a genetically modified cell factory”.The general objective of this line of research is to continue efforts in the development of a cell factory based on a filamentous fungus, used to produce enzymes using RNAi technology, CRISPR-Cas and homologous recombination. The aim of the project involves the suppression as well as the overexpression of transcription factors involved in the regulation of gene expression.The candidate must have a PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology or similar areas, desirable experience in basic molecular techniques: extraction and isolation of nucleic acids and proteins, PCR, transformation; and advanced: Cassette assembly, in vivo and in vitro DNA assembly. The vacancy also requires a profile of leadership, motivation, and independence to work with students at undergrad, master and doctoral level. The postdoc will be based at the University of São Paulo’s Lorena Engineering School (EEL-USP) in Brazil.This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
