Descrição da Vaga: About The Role The DevOps Engineering team is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Contract) to manage production infrastructure and development pipelines primarily using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Bring your thorough, practiced understanding of DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure to this team where you will be expected to make an impact. As a member of this team, this Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will help shape The RealReal’s production infrastructure and Engineering culture.This contract position is open to remote candidates outside the United States in North/South America and will report to the Sr. Manager of DevOps Engineering.What You Get To Do Every DayMaintain and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure, employing automation, and infrastructure-as-code using TerraformBuild and maintain our code pipelines, designing and building automation in order to enable agile software development, using self-service where possibleCollaborate efficiently and effectively with Software Engineers and Product teams on complex problemsBuild and contribute to infrastructure services such as Kubernetes/EKS, and other AWS services including Apache Kafka/MSK, AWS RDS Aurora MySQL and Postgres.Quickly absorb context and knowledge while ramping up and using that to build or bolster documentationKeep a strong level of quality and velocity in your work, while collaborating and reporting when appropriateExercise and promote security best practices throughout your workflowParticipate in an on-call rotation on a regular basis and respond to incidents reliably and professionallyWhat You Bring To The RoleMinimum Requirements:5+ years combined experience in DevOps, Site Reliability engineering and/or Cloud administration3+ yrs experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)2+ years experience with EKS/Kubernetes2+ years experience with Terraform3+ years automation experience using popular languages (bash, python, etc); software development background a plus3+ years professional experience with UNIX-based Operating SystemsExperience building Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflowsExperience with logging, metrics, APM and observability tools such as DataDogExperience tuning and troubleshooting performance for high traffic web servicesStrong understanding of the software development lifecycleStrong understanding of networking and common network protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, SSL/TLS, and relevant diagnostic toolsDatabase fundamentals and experience with MySQL or PostgreSQLGit and Github workflowsNice to HavesExperience with Kafka or AWS MSKExperience with NoSQL Databases such as ElasticSearch/OpenSearchExperience deploying microservices environmentsExperience converting applications to run in Docker containers, and with orchestration layersComputer Science or Engineering degreeCompensation, Benefits, + PerksThis role is not eligible for benefits.The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods, with more than 30 million members.
