We’ve also picked up a number of awards including numerous CODiEs, Academics’ Choice and Edtech Digest to name a few.THE ROLEWe are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst for the Matific Brazil Team.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the month-end closing and financial reporting processes, with an emphasis on timely, accurate and insightful results and analysis.
- Manage AR/AP, contracts and invoicing, revenue recognition, inter-company, payroll and other transactional/accounting operational processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional and global teams.
- Support financial planning and analysis that drives business growth, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Support ERP and other system enhancements/implementations as required.
- Develop, implement and document financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Work with local advisors to support tax preparation and filing, ensuring our compliance responsibilities are up to date.

- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CA/CPA/ACCA/CRC or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) within the software industry or technology sector with a sound understanding of software accounting matters.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel and experience using accounting platforms such as Conta Azul is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.

- Availability for hybrid work (3 days in the office and 2 days remote) in São Paulo (near MASP)
