As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas in support of the firm’s business objectives. Your deep knowledge of Software Engineering, programming, continuous delivery, and testing will help our team meet the requirements of our diverse user base. You will work on intellectually challenging projects ranging from the refinement and design to delivery of services that integrate with internal and external cloud platforms.Job responsibilitiesLeads the engineering of cutting-edge solutions in the areas of metadata, data model authoring and storage, and data in place/data in motionSupport for the JPM applications as well as vendor systemsCollaborates with our users, product management, architecture and stakeholders in our sister teams to ensure we build the right solutionsUnderstands regulatory reporting ecosystems. Identifies, assesses and articulates near-term business needs, advises businesses on options and working directly operations teams;Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsConsistently monitors project schedule, key milestones and critical dates to proactively identify, escalate and mitigate potential jeopardy of project schedule, risks and dependenciesDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficient in programming languages as Python, Java or KotlinProficiency in frameworks as Spring (incl.
