We offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments and API integration.Your ResponsibilitiesThis position will be part of the Treasury Operations Team and will play a key role in the financial reconciliations of Ebury. It will report to the Treasury Operations Reconciliation Manager:
- This position will work with the wider treasury function and will play a central role in the daily operations of the department;
- Supporting the financial reconciliation function ensuring the adequate reconciliation and reporting of 800+ accounts in 100+ currencies;
- Execution of daily reconciliation across Ebury’s Group Bank accounts including: Client collections accounts, Lp settlements accounts, Payout accounts, Corporate Treasury Accounts, Trade Finance and SPV accounts, Cover accounts;
- Daily monitoring and controls over the internal vs external balances;
- Detect, analyse, correct and escalate if needed possible discrepancies between external and internal cash flows and balances;
- Execute daily internal control checks to ensure there is no missing information in the systems;
- Ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reporting of all treasury positions;
- Document and control of processes facilitating the audit processes;
- Intra-department reporting;
- Supporting function in external audit.
Requirements
- Team player, fast learner, able to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately. We are looking for an individual with drive and passion;
- Accounting or economics degree preferred;
- 3+ years experience in an audit function or a similar role in a financial institution;
- High level in Microsoft Excel or GoogleSheet is a must;
- Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment;
- Proactive, with the ability to work within strict time-frames and under pressure;
- Diligent, with good attention to detail;
- Effective research skills with an ability to find solutions independently;
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships;
- Motivated, with a desire to make Ebury a success;
- High level of English..
